Being approved by documents Z.J.F.Z.(1997) No. 507 and .(1997) No. 508 of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the Company issued 12.5 million A shares at 7.56 Yuan per share to society through Shanghai Stock Exchange (where 2 million shares are staff shares) on November 12, 1997. On December 1 of the same year, it went public in Shanghai Stock Exchange. The total equity of Zhejiang Orient after the IPO changed to be 50 million shares. Later, after offering of 11.43612 million rationed shares as well as several times of stock distribution and transfer-increase, the total equity of the company at present is 505,473,354 shares.
